SERVICING AT WONDERCROSS

Our workshop in Northcote, Melbourne is the home of Wondercross, the place where our bikes are built, tested, tuned and kept rolling.

Whether you ride a Wondercross or something else, we can help keep your bike feeling great. From basic tune-ups and safety checks through to brake bleeds, drivetrain servicing, tubeless setup, wheel truing, bearing checks, cable replacement, bar tape, custom builds and problem-solving weird noises, we’re here to help.

We work on road, gravel, commuter, touring, adventure and family bikes, with a practical workshop approach focused on getting your bike riding better, safer and for longer.

For smaller jobs, workshop labour is charged at $60 per half hour, plus any parts required.

  • ESSENTIAL SERVICE

    $99*

    A safety check and tune for bikes that are generally in good condition but need some workshop attention.

    Best for: commuter bikes, lightly used bikes, pre-ride checks, or bikes that just need the basics brought back into line.

    ✓ Gear adjustment and shifting check
    ✓ Brake adjustment and alignment
    ✓ Derailleur hanger checked
    ✓ Chain wear checked
    ✓ Brake pads checked
    ✓ Headset, hubs and bottom bracket checked for play
    ✓ Key bolts checked and tightened
    ✓ Drivetrain lubricated
    ✓ General safety inspection

  • STANDARD SERVICE

    $169*

    A more complete service for bikes that are ridden regularly and need a proper tune, clean and adjustment.

    Best for: bikes in regular use, bikes that feel noisy, dry, sluggish or overdue for attention.

    ✓ Drivetrain degreased and re-lubricated
    ✓ Frame, fork and wheels washed
    ✓ Freehub condition checked
    ✓ Brake and gear cables checked and serviced
    ✓ Gears and brakes tuned under workshop load
    ✓ Wheels checked for minor wobbles
    ✓ Electronic shifting systems checked and updated where required
    ✓ Final workshop check and test ride

  • PREMIUM SERVICE

    $349

    A deeper workshop service for bikes that need more time, cleaning, cable work, brake work and bearing attention.

    Best for: heavily used bikes, bikes coming back from wet weather, gravel, touring, commuting, events or long periods without servicing.

    +
    ✓ New bar tape or grips fitted
    ✓Cranks removed, cleaned, greased and refitted
    ✓Bottom bracket removed, cleaned, greased and refitted where possible
    ✓ Wheels trued
    ✓ Drivetrain and key components detail cleaned
    ✓ Inner and outer mechanical cables replaced
    ✓ Hydraulic brakes bled
    ✓ Headset bearings serviced or replaced where accessible
    ✓ Final workshop check and test ride
